(1) Light transmittance: The highest light transmittance of PC board can reach 89%, which can match the beauty of glass. UV coated panels will not undergo yellowing, atomization, and poor light transmission when exposed to sunlight. After ten years, the loss of light transmission is only 6%, while the loss rate of PVC is as high as 15-20%, and the loss rate of glass fiber is 12% -20%.

(2) Impact resistance: The impact strength is 250 to 300 times that of ordinary glass, 30 times that of acrylic plates of the same thickness, and 2 to 20 times that of tempered glass. It has no cracks when dropped below two meters with a 3kg hammer, and is known as "unbreakable glass" and "sound steel".

(3) UV protection: One side of the PC board is coated with an anti ultraviolet (UV) coating, and the other side has anti condensation treatment, which integrates UV resistance, heat insulation, and anti dripping functions. It can block the passage of ultraviolet rays and is suitable for protecting precious artworks and exhibits from UV damage.

(4) Light weight: The specific gravity is only half of that of glass, saving on transportation, handling, installation, and support frame costs.

(5) Flame retardant: According to the national standard GB50222-95, PC boards are classified as Class 1 flame retardant, i.e. Class B1. The ignition point of the PC board itself is 580 degrees Celsius, and it will self extinguish after leaving the fire. During combustion, it will not produce toxic gases and will not promote the spread of the fire.

(6) Flexibility: Cold bending can be used on the construction site according to the design drawings, and installed into arched, semi circular roofs and windows. The minimum bending radius is 175 times the thickness of the plate used, and it can also be hot bent.

(7) Sound insulation: PC board has a significant sound insulation effect, with better sound insulation than glass and acrylic boards of the same thickness. Under the same thickness conditions, the sound insulation of PC board is 3-4 DB higher than that of glass. Internationally, it is the preferred material for highway noise barriers.

(8) Energy efficiency: Keep cool in summer and keep warm in winter. PC board has a lower thermal conductivity (K value) than ordinary glass and other plastics, and its insulation effect is 7% -25% higher than that of equivalent glass. PC board has a maximum insulation of 49%. This greatly reduces heat loss, making it an environmentally friendly material for buildings with heating equipment.

(9) Temperature adaptability: PC boards do not experience cold brittleness at -100 degrees Celsius, do not soften at 135 degrees Celsius, and have no significant changes in mechanical and mechanical properties in harsh environments.

(10) Weathering resistance: PC board can maintain the stability of various physical indicators within the range of -40 ℃ to 120 ℃. The artificial climate aging test lasted for 4000 hours, with a yellowing degree of 2 and a decrease in transmittance of only 0.6%.

(11) Anti condensation: When the outdoor temperature is 0 ℃, the indoor temperature is 23 ℃, and the indoor relative humidity is below 80%, the internal surface of the material is not condensation.
